This past weekend we have celebrated our 5th month residence in Luxembourg. We can say that we have finally established a routine. Carolyn continues going to gymnastics twice a week. She has been training harder than ever. Carolyn really likes it. Before we came to Luxembourg I really thought that gymnastics would be a very popular sport and it will be easy for us to find gymnastics school/club. However, it was not so easy. There is a wide variety of sport activities that is offered for the kids but the choices of locations are very limited. Soccer, of course, is the absolute favorite sport here. Ian has been going to his classes once a week. He cannot wait to play outside though. So far all of the training has been done indoors. Ashley and I started out own classes last week. We are learning French. Why French? It is considered the official written language of Luxembourg, even though German and Luxembourgish are also spoken languages. We go to our school three times a week. There are about 15 students in our class from about 10 different countries. Needless to say it has been an interesting experience.
We also caught the glimpse of spring weather last week. It was nice to see some sun. On Saturday we went to the dog shelter. Carolyn and Ian really miss our dogs, and their hamster is not very interactive. Kids were not allowed to keep the dog on the leash, however they truly enjoyed walking Dollar.
