My kids are back to school today after spending a week at home during this Carnival Winter break. The weather was excellent. We had a lot of sun this week. Many of you know that the lack of sun has been detrimental for us (well, maybe just me). We did some crafts, danced, rode bikes, played in the park.
Speaking of Sun, my mom called me son because I was so bright! We miss you all. Cooked out with the Wests, it was a pretty day. We worked in the year (I did, the others just watched) and I prepped the garden for planting. I have a bad feeling that despite the warm days, a freeze may still come, unlikely but seems odd we had no cold weather to speak of. I cut back the pompous grass in the yard without using gloves. My hands look like I played with razor blades. I should have listened... See you all soon enough, enjoy the adventure while you have it. The rest of us are just doing the same old thing since you left, eating, drinking, visiting and wondering whose kids are these in the back yard?
