Legoland Germany 2013

Ever since LEGOLAND Dallas opened I wanted to take my kids.  And since that never happened we decided to take the trip to the LEGOLAND Germany. I do not think we could have waited until summer break.  Despite the little drizzle from time to time we had a great time.

Big LEGO people were everywhere.

There were famous micro buildings from all over the world.

This arena was cool.  SO MANY LEGO PEOPLE.  Ian loved it.

The blades of the helicopter were moving as well as the LEGO dude was moving.

We could not pass the chance to pose with STAR WARS LEGO PEOPLE.

These random forest birds and other animals built out of LEGOs were everywhere.

Here were are looking for some gold.  It was a cool activity and a chance to have a mini lesson about California Gold Rush.

When it was raining harder we went inside one of the building workshops.  Kids were able to create and race their own cars.  There were also a lot of dads at work.

Ashley trying out a ride.  Probably the only one ride that is mostly for adults or at least older kids.

Yes, it was not raining when the kids started this boat ride...

... and it started to rain again, but they did not care.

Then they decided to try out bigger boats.

Farewell shots!!!!

It was truly amazing the creativity and patience that was involved in designing this park.
